What's Up With This Terrapin??!!

We woke up this morning and found this particular terrapin high up on the ladder...just balancing there...

The question is, how did he get up there????? We asked the maid if she did it and she said she doesn't even dare touch them...hehe...WEIRRRRDDD!!!
